Welcome 2025! , with alien peens and the readers who love them!
2024 in Review!
I narrated for two indie authors this year, Sarina Langer and Alyssa Rose.
I wrote Her Alien Warrior launched April 2024
I wrote Her Alien Insurgent launched May 2024
I wrote Her Alien Starbreaker launched in the Beyond Earth Anthology December 2024
I wrote Breaking Fate, book two of the Dark Gods Rising Medusa Retelling series, launched October 2024
I wrote TKManAteHer, a short spicy robot romance in May 2024
That's a total of 4 books for 2024 + a short story.
Her Alien Warrior WON the Sci-fi Romance Category of the 2024 N.N. Light Book Awards! and Breaking Fate won the Romantasy category!
Loved the art done by the wonderful Deborah from https://www.instagram.com/debanne_art/
Jewel of the Alien Bandit finally reached 150 ratings on Goodreads with a 4.29 average.
Her Alien Prince had over 5,000+ downloads during my Christmas giveaway for the stuff your reader day! In April, I joined the stuff your reader day with Her Alien Savior and it had 6,000+ downloads! Last Year in 2023 Sep, I joined the stuff your reader day with Jewel of the Alien Bandit and had 6,000+ downloads of the book, so three of my books have now seen the joy of seeing #1 in sci-fi adventure for at least a little while.
The hope in joining these events is reaching readers I wouldn't have access to normally, and perhaps sometime over the next few years they dig through their e-readers and decide to give the book a chance by reading it, and joining the universe!
Some people are against free promotions like that, because free doesn't mean that I've made anything to continue writing the next book, but I consider it a marketing expense, because perhaps out of those thousands of people, I may only grab 50 of them into my world, but that's 50 more people than I had before. Perhaps those 50 people decide to read, love my book, and then choose to support future books by buying the next stand alone alien romance?
In terms of the taboo talk about money! Quarter 4 is always a slower time for me and my books, perhaps it's because I don't have as much time to market, perhaps it's everyone is busy with family obligations, who knows.
BUT compared with 2023's 4th quarter and 2024's 4th quarter it is significantly better! in 2024 I made $300 for my sci-fi romances, and 170 for my romantasy (over quarter 4, three months) Averaging across my two platforms around 150 a month.
In 2023, I made 190 in qtr 4 for my romantasy, and 210 for my alien romance. A pretty close consistency for my romantasy with no growth from year to year, but for my alien romances that's a boost from last year. Combined that's a 133 average a month in 2023's 4th quarter to 150 in 2024, making a 13% boost.
In Dec 2023, Sky Robert had 263 followers on Amazon, in 2024 I have 482 followers for my alien romances! That's a 83% increase!
As for my newsletter, I had a 26% increase in subscribers from 2023 to 2024!
Two of my books broke even on launch costs, Her Alien Savior and Her Alien Prince! For the first time EVER, I finally have a book that has paid back what I put into it.
Her Alien Warrior was my FIRST ever book to break even on launch costs within launch month in April 2024, but then I spent money on a gorgeous art commission of General Sou-el, so at the end of December 2024, I'm 120 away from breaking even again. I estimate to break even around it's anniversary April 2025 based on current monthly reading of Her Alien Warrior.
I spent $45 to join the anthology Beyond Earth with Her Alien Starbreaker, my first anthology in 2024, with 8 other amazing authors. Before the pre-order cancellation fiasco with Amazon, the anthology had around 600+ pre-orders, but all of them were gone a week before launch because Amazon canceled our book.
I have no idea at this point how many pre-orders were recovered or how many additionally orders, if any, happened throughout December for the 8-story collection. IF, hypothetically, we retained our 600 at 99 pennies. That would be around 34 cents each book X 600 =204 / 8 authors = $25 out of my 45 being returned in December.
Though the anthology is no longer 99 pennies, it is still only 3.99 to get 8 stories, including my full-length book Her Alien Starbreaker! So, for the price of one book, you still get 8 books for a limited time.
Anthologies are not meant to make money, but also, a marketing expense that I hope my fans enjoy, and that new readers discover!

Her Alien Starbreaker is the last story in the anthology, so number 8! I think that's a great spot to be in. I know everyone can pick and choose which story to read through the Table of Contents, but some people like to read through a book from start to finish and I'll be the last story enjoyed and perhaps steal a lasting impression that brings them into the Trillume Universe to stay and join my author journey.
"You will open for me, mate, and I will fill every part of you with my seed, with my venom, and my soul." - Her Alien Starbreaker
"I love it whenever he calls her his treasure—it feels like a hug to my heart. Sky has a way of building anticipation, and as a reader, I’m drawn to how she weaves her stories." 5-stars from Pearly
"As always Sky Robert doesn't disappoint, a soul-gripping tale past before the timeline of the series and that shows why the Trills spread the Ganpan-Fal." 5-stars from Sandra
Grab Her Alien Starbreaker, a complete spicy standalone sci-fi alien romance, in the Beyond Earth Anthology today for only 99 pennies, while also getting 7 other spicy out of this world romances!

Plans for 2025!
Expect to see the next installment of the Necia Warriors, Her Alien Captor
Her Alien Starbreaker will be released individually with new bonus scenes in March, and Allegiance with the Beast will dive into the fishier side of the universe with sexy aliens with tails, fins, and skin that blends with the water for a cultural immersion situation where human mates are brought in for breeding.
There is also Riven's Flame a dragon romance, Goblin's Treasure a Labyrinth retelling, and Heart of Darkness a fae dagger-wielding Desdin files feeling adventure. As well as the third installement of the Medusa Retelling of gods and monsters.
I hope you're excited for 2025!

Here's what some other readers have said about the Trillume Universe books!
"Wow , sky has done it again and blew me away with this series . I absolutely cannot get enough and always sad when it ends." - LuLu - Jewel of the Alien Bandit
"This book took my heart and tore it into pieces. The emotional whiplash this book gave me, I can't describe. The book gave me all the feels - the hopelessness of forbidden love, the yearning, the realization that you can't live without them, and finally the HEA." Books_n_tea - Her Alien Prince
"I think Robert is doing something refreshing with her aliens – the world is complex and immersive, the technology fun and futuristic, and the mating culture takes center stage with these exhibition friendly space vampires " - Becky - Her Alien Warrior
"Ok so here's the thing. The story of these books is amazing and I totally loved this one. But if you are looking for great story AND unique peen then OH MAN THIS ONE IS GOLD. " - Gleeful Goblin - Her Alien Insurgent
All of my books are standalone alien romances, each a separate complete romance, read in any order, and with their interconnected plots, each book layers and you find out more about the world the more you read. Have questions from one book? Read another one, and you're sure to find more answers, and perhaps more questions as the universe unravels. That's what I love about sci-fi adventures set in the same universe, there's so much room to play!
