As always, I try to find a few more alien/monster romances you may like, I list them after my newsletter rants. I remembered a few of you liked panther romance, and I found one! Plus, who doesn't like vampire romances?

And the white lettering on the back turned out great! I am a horrible photographer, obviously, since even I can tell the lettering looks blurry in my photo, but I assure you in person... with my eyeballs, the blurb is clear, and looks great. It's got a glossy finish which makes it pop, but also makes the photography more difficult to capture its prettiness.

And from the results of my last question about how many people read paperbacks or if you consume your books via e-book/audiobook?
It was an overwhelming majority of you that have stated you don't buy paperbacks anymore! All your reading is done on your phone or tablet.
I got a few responses that love reading with a book in their hand, and even a preference for large print.

I've hired a male narrator for Vareo, and we are halfway through production of the audiobook adaptation!
If you listen to audiobooks, do you listen on BookFunnel App? Do you listen on Spotify? Or are you Audible exclusive? If you want to listen to the audiobook before anyone else, then I'm thinking of having it available for pre-order in my PayHip shop. I made the choice to pay him direct instead of royalty, so that I may choose to leave Audible exclusivity after a period of time, and bring the book to a wider audience eventually, including LIBRARIES!

My goal is to get at least 60 pre-orders to help pay for the production costs of hiring another narrator besides myself, this will have me break even on audiobook adaptation costs. And if I can reach 120 pre-orders purchased direct then I will have actually paid myself for my own time narrating for the female MC, Luan, and all my time in post-production audio engineering.
I'll have to remove the audiobook from my PayHip as soon as the book is set to release on Audible, as I plan on being exclusive with Audible for a limited amount of time to acquire the promo codes. The promo codes will allow me to give the first 100 pre-orders access to the book on Audible for freesies, but in order to be compliant with their rules, you are not purchasing the Audible promo code, you are purchasing advanced access to the audiobook through BookFunnel before Audible has any rights for distribution, and it will not be available for purchase outside of Audible once released on their platform for at least 3 months.
I'm doing it this way, because production cost-wise all I need is at least 60 people to purchase direct to cover costs outside of my own time. And if I went straight to Audible they only give 25% to the right's holder, meaning I would have to sell 260 copies to recoup costs instead of 60, which is tough for an indie author!
