I accidentally forgot to transfer current arc team members over to the Street team for notifications on future arcs, I've updated you all over now, and there were 15 of you, who probably didn't get the Opt-in email for joining the current team for Her Alien Starbreaker.
So, I decided to do a little update about Her Alien Insurgent stats, and let you know that the next ARC is ready for Her Alien Starbreaker! This will be the last email for the ARC team of Her Alien Insurgent. As the current ARC team group will be replaced with those that Opt-in for Her Alien Starbreaker.
I forgot to do a follow up email at the end of MAY when Her Alien Insurgent launched, but on the bright side that means there is more fun bookish data to share! Which is when I like to do my giveaway for members. And just to clarify, my giveaways are for being street team members and helping to launch the book via social media or however else you'd like to shake your booty as a member. I do not incentivize reviews. In fact, I don't require reviews at all to be a member or to receive an arc, nor do I double check to see that members do or do not share the book. Nor do I advertise that a giveaway is guaranteed for being a member. It's simply my way of saying thanks for supporting me as an author and bringing me a smile that helps me continue to write the next book.
Okay, on to updates!
As most of you know, I'm very transparent about my author journey, and I find it fun to see my progress and quantify it with data. As my VIP team, you get to get the behind the scenes data that I don't always share with my regular newsletter.
Her Alien Insurgent has 65 ratings on Goodreads with a 4.8 star average! 31 readers added to their TBR, 13 readers are shown as "currently reading"
There are 35 ratings on Amazon with a 4.8 star average! It's my highest rated book launched yet!
At the current rate of pages read in Kindle Unlimited it will take around 27 months for Her Alien Insurgent to break even on launch costs. Which is around 2 years and 3 months from now if the rate remains the same.
I attribute the slower pace of this launch because even though it is a standalone, it is more enjoyed after reading Her Alien Prince and that creates a barrier to entry versus my other launches that are more jump in and layer whatever book you want. Also, I launched this book's marketing very close to the launch date because I didn't want to push back the launch due to having to completely rewrite this book. I technically wrote this book twice because I wanted it to be better. The high average rating means that people who love the series, enjoyed this continuation.
I think this book will naturally grab more readers as the rest of the series grows its audience, but I think overall many more people are enjoying the Necia Warriors more than the Treasures of Trillume series.
I'm hoping that with the launch of Her Alien Starbreaker there will be more readers that discover the Trillume Universe and follow through to reading the rest of the series, including Her Alien Insurgent.

Question: How many of you use Kindle Unlimited? I'm considering if perhaps expanding the distribution instead of being exclusive might increase the reach of the series. Would you be sad to see the Trillume Universe transition to Kobo Plus? Thoughts?

It's a full-length 40k word standalone alien romance with 3 open door spicy scenes and the interconnected world building you've come to enjoy from the Trillume Universe. There's a cameo appearance of Vareo and Genbi when they were younger, and fun origin stories that reveal Easter eggs across many of the books. No need to have read any previous book, but you'll find you may want to reread the universe after reading Her Alien Starbreaker.

The trill are a reptilian species with sharp teeth, scales, fancy peens, and exceptionally playful tails. There's a bit of a breeding kink, but there is no "oops I'm preggers", none of that in these pages. Fated mates, mating marks, biting, tail play, knotting, and even a bit of exhibitionism. All the fun stuff.
And I'm including it in the Beyond Earth anthology launching December 11th!
This is my first anthology so I'm trying to think of best practices for launching this book. Because 3 months after the anthology launch the anthology will be unlisted, and Her Alien Starbreaker will launch separately on March 1st 2025 with the commissioned art by Deborah Garcia.
There are two launch dates for this book, meaning it's okay if you can't read by Dec 11th, 2024. There is another launch March 1st 2025. So, plenty of time to read and enjoy.
