This is OPT-IN for Her Alien Insurgent! You replied to an email to join the current Sky Robert ARC team!
I have been reading through the ARC myself and making updates to any typos I find along the way.
Most notably is the continuity of CHAD versus CHESTER. OMG! Well, that's what more read throughs and sweeps are good for.
And ANOTHER name change error of Anbree instead of Bina. Bina is the correct name, and the Anbree was updated. I did want Gaven's mate to be named Anbree at first, but then changed my mind when I thought of a cute comparison of being named after one of the moons. It seemed more fitting.
Another is updating the klovins to klohvin (some were missing the "h")
And updating usage of human between the species. Huemoon is used by estrelds, hooman is used by krelins, sort of thing, making sure each instance is used correctly.
I've also fixed a few errors that were introduced during the editing phases. Sometimes when using Google Docs Suggested Changes, you don't always catch all the extra spaces that get interjected, or the missing letter of a word because a change was accepted and then didn't notice that the change from comma to period actually included the first letter of the next sentence, or the last letter of the sentence gets chopped when "replacing" the comma. And on the opposite spectrum of removing a space between words that should be there. I've been working through to fix those errors introduced during the editing phase.
And the error in chapter 9 of "beat" instead of "heat"
I'm working my way through the ARC copy and making changes. If you find anything that catches your eye, just highlight it and send me an email when you're finished, and I'll make sure it's fixed for the launch.
I have until MAY 3rd to make changes that will be reflected in the e-book for everyone who pre-ordered the book. I can still make changes after the fact, that's the beauty of indie publishing, and being able to make the experience better for future readers is always the goal!
