Go on a Blind Date with Liam Jennings
Hello ,
It's hard to get mad at the dwindling sunlight around here when the days are so pretty with the vivid colors, crispy air and bright sunshine. But let's face it, I've been going to bed earlier and earlier.
How about you? If you're in the northern hemisphere, do you find yourself shortening your day's activities automatically according to the setting sun?
You might think that would shorten my writing time too, but no.
For instance, last night I got on a writing roll and couldn't stop because it was so fun the way the words and lines and ideas kept tumbling out and building on each other with new scenes and lines one after another.
I love when that happens. I think it's related to a good night's sleep. Or it could be a good cup of coffee. Either way, I'll take it.
Does coffee help wire your brain to full speed ahead?
So now I bet you're expecting to see great progress in my word count for Liam: the Jennings Brothers, my work-in-progress, but...
I ended up writing 2k+ words in Rory: the Jennings Brothers!
How did that happen? You ask.
Isn't writing books out of order crazy? You ask.
How could you start writing two books at once? You ask.
All good questions. It all started when I went to refresh the blurb for Rory's story. Then I couldn't help myself--I started writing scenes and it snowballed.
