Thank you, Crossroads for Florida Kids, for the opportunity to spend a wonderful evening with your foster youth, volunteers, and supporters!
Our "All Rise! A Night of Power, Purpose & Possibility" event brought together law, music, storytelling, and inspiration in a fun and engaging way.
We had the pleasure of hearing from NFL Super Bowl champion, law school graduate, and former foster youth Brian E. Tyms, who shared his remarkable journey and the message behind his book, From Foster Kid to Football Star.
I also enjoyed introducing the kids to their constitutional rights through stories from my book Justice & Liberty for All and excerpts from If These Mugshots Could Talk. By exploring the real people whose cases helped shape our rights, we showed the young people that the law isn't just something in textbooks-it affects their everyday lives, and their voices matter.
A special thank-you to you, Daniela E. Mendez, for moderating our discussion and bringing your experience as a former public defender and Attorney Ad Litem to the conversation.
My hope is that every young person left knowing two things: They have rights worth protecting, and their circumstances do not define their future.
Thank you again for the opportunity to connect, educate, and inspire. I look forward to finding more ways to collaborate!

Reading about the 'All Rise! A Night of Power, Purpose & Possibility' event, I was struck by how you blended NFL champion Brian E. Tyms' inspiring story with constitutional education for kids, turning abstract rights into lived experience. A solid https://maine-license-plate.org/specialty/ offers the same clarity and transparency that helps communities access vital records. Your method of pairing real‑world narratives with actionable resources mirrors how we guide citizens through licensing requirements, ensuring every voice is heard and every step is straightforward.
