Happy Hot Flash Friday ! πŸŽ‰

Confession time. I had a plan for this week. I've been working on this fun new thing I want to get into your hands, and I was super excited to have it ready to send. But Monday was a holiday, which meant a) all week long I've had no idea what day it really is, and b) one less working day than I'd counted on. The surprise isn't quite ready for the world, so you're getting a sneak preview instead.

Annoying? A little. But it gave me a very timely example for today's issue.

  • A hot and helpful new tool is on its way to you.

  • Your plans had other plans. You can still get the win.

  • Sprinting towards the holidays ?

Hot New Tool: It's Almost Here!

Last week we talked about thinking smaller and finding your one next step. And I'm building you a quiz to help with exactly that!

What's Your Menopause Fitness Personality? A five minute quiz, a personal report, and a 7-day plan built around how you're wired to succeed.

What it won't do is hand you a 47-item to-do list or tell you to fix everything at once. Just a clear place to start, from where you are now, with one small step each day.

I'm targeting Sunday for the release of the quiz now. And honestly, I like that better, since Sunday is World Menopause Day. It's the perfect day for a gift for all my hot and flashy friends, so keep an eye on your inbox and be sure to give it a try!

This also brings me to confession number two. In my mad dash and desire to get this quiz up and running for you, I've been sitting at my computer A TON. And actual exercise? Completely slid sideways. Bonus Hot Take: Personal trainers are people too. 😏

When plans change

Here's what my holiday "wtf day of the week" mix-up reminded me of. Plans change. That doesn't mean the plan failed or you fell short. It usually just means the plan needs a little adjusting to fit you.

Menopause makes this extra true. You plan the workout, and then you're up half the night with a brain that won't shut off, or night sweats (or both!), and running on fumes. You plan your perfect week, and then work piles up or life piles on. It's tempting to call it a write-off and start over "when things settle down."

Try this instead: shrink it, shift it, keep going. A 10 minute walk still counts if you can't face the workout. If pizza's the only workable dinner option tonight, plan the healthier meal tomorrow. Five minutes of quiet works wonders when time in the morning for meditation feels insanely out of reach. Staying in motion matters more than sticking to the original plan.

Flash Action: Take Back The Win

Think of one plan that got knocked off course this week. Ask yourself: what's the smallest version of this I could still do within the next day or two? Then do that version. That's your win.

Me? Those workouts I missed get shifted to this weekend, with a commitment to myself to get them in.

How about you ? Please hit reply and tell me what you'll do to check that win off for you.

Thrive Further

Six weeks of personalized, direct access coaching with me for just πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ $397. That's the Thrive in Menopause 6 Week Sprint. A plan built around your fitness personality, your real life, and adjusted along the way, so you can still succeed when "shift happens". 😁

Get started now and you'll be feeling fit and fabulous right on time to sparkle a little extra for the holiday party season. That little black dress awaits! Reply SPRINT if you're curious and I'll send more information your way.

Whatever you do this weekend , may it give you exactly the enjoyment and replenishment you need. Make it a win.

High fives here for you always! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
