What’s Happening In Narelle’s World?
Dear Friends,
Welcome to mid-April. The last few weeks have been challenging for my family as we grieve the loss of my father-in-law last month. We've started what I call the year of 'firsts' with our first Easter without him. I'm also playing catch up on my to-do list, including my Fan Girling recording schedule.

My Christian contemporary romance selection is Her Mistaken Identity Cowboy by Karen Baney that's set in Arizona. Parker is weary from dealing with multiple situations where he’s arrested for his identical twin brother’s crimes. Shannon applies for a job where Parker works at Vargas Ranch. She's convinced Parker is his twin brother who ruined her life and sets in motion a chain of events that leads to Parker getting arrested. I recommend Her Mistaken Identity Cowboy to contemporary romance readers who like westerns with enemies to love romance, mistaken identity, forced proximity, family drama, and strong faith elements in the story. My alternative selection is All Booked Up by Melody Carlson, a contemporary fiction novel set in a small Oregon town. Riva is a widow who can't afford to live in her beautiful Victorian house. Her solution is to take in a quirky group of boarders who can help her pay the bills. I recommend All Booked Up to contemporary fiction readers who like small town women’s fiction with second chances, found family, bookish characters, romance, and relevant faith elements in the story.
