What’s Happening In Narelle’s World?
Dear Friends,
Welcome to May and Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May. Our Mother's Day in Australia lines up with USA and we celebrate Father's Day in September.
It's going to be a hard Mother's Day for me this year. When I sent out my April newsletter, my mum was doing well and looking forward to her youngest grandson visiting with her. After Mum enjoyed a lovely visit with her grandson, she ended up back in hospital with congestive heart failure complications. Two weeks later she peacefully passed away into the arms of Jesus.
I've been offline dealing with a lot of stuff and I didn't have time to set up the paperback for Romance in the land down under. The ebook novella collection released yesterday and the paperback will be coming as soon as I have a chance to look at it.
During late April and May I've fallen behind with my Read the Bible in a Year Challenge. I listen to the daily readings in The One Year Chronological Bible and the encouraging Daily Bible Podcast - Audio Bible Reading Plan episodes with Tricia Goyer and her friend Michelle.
My phone wasn't working properly during the long days I spent at my mum's bedside in the hospital. It was kind of like being transported back to the 1990's with calls and texts my main form of communication. It was inconvenient being offline but in many ways it was refreshing and pleasant to have a break from technology. I could focus on being present, and not distracted by technology, during those last days with my mum. My plan is to catch up on the Bible readings I've missed by listening to a few episodes each day in the coming weeks.
New Release - Romance in the land down under (Sydney Sweethearts Novella Collection)
I'm excited to share that I have compiled my three novellas connected to Zach and Billie from Seaside Proposal (book 3) in my Sydney Sweethearts storyworld into one collection. The ebook collection released yesterday and is currently available for 99c at Amazon Kindle.

Seaside Christmas - currently my free ebook novella gift for newsletter subscribers. Seaside Christmas hasn't previously been published in paperback format.
Solo Tu - from A Tuscan Legacy multi-author series that is currently available in ebook (Kindle Unlimited) and paperback format from Amazon.
His Perfect Catch - set in the fictional coastal town of Sapphire Bay. The ebook has been available in SPLASH! and Love, Faith & Tender Kisses multi author box sets. His Perfect Catch hasn't previously been published in paperback format.
A paperback version of Romance in the land down under will soon be available to order from bricks and mortar retail stores in addition to Amazon.
Romance in the land down under ebook is exclusive to Amazon because Solo Tu (and the other 9 ebooks from A Tuscan Legacy series) are in Kindle Unlimited. As per Amazon's rules, Romance in the land down under ebook collection will not be available in Kindle Unlimited.

Final Thoughts
Thank you for journeying with me on my often crazy and challenging book publishing journey. If you’re a praying person, I’d love prayers for myself and my family as we grieve the loss of my beautiful mum. I'm also dealing with some childhood trauma issues relating to my mum's Bipolar Disorder 1 illness.
