What’s Happening In Narelle’s World?

Dear Friends,

Welcome to August! We're in the last month of winter in Australia and I'm looking forward to the return of warmer spring weather. We haven't had any snow in Canberra this year but there's still time if another cold snap rolls through. The last few months have been exhausting and I've appreciated any opportunity to rest and recharge. I recently spent a few days in the country with my husband and it was lovely to escape the busyness of city life. In Canberra we see sunsets over the Brindabella Ranges. The photo below is a sunrise from the other side of the Brindabella Ranges looking east.

We’re heading toward the last third of the year and I'm hanging in there with my Read the Bible in a Year Challenge. My goal is to listen to the daily readings in The One Year Chronological Bible and the encouraging Daily Bible Podcast - Audio Bible Reading Plan episodes with Tricia Goyer and her friend Michelle. In recent days I've been reading inspiring and encouraging passages from Jeremiah.

Final Thoughts

Thank you for journeying with me on my often crazy and challenging book publishing journey. If you’re a praying person, I’d love continued prayers for my sister, especially as she prepares to leave us and move into her new home in sunny Queensland next month. I'd also love prayers for the energy I need to juggle everything that's on my schedule this month. I'm thankful my migraines have been under control and I pray this will continue. I'm praying my season for writing will begin in the coming weeks after a long break where I prioritised family commitments. I have appreciated all your email replies, prayers, good thoughts, and support.

Blessings and love to you,

Narelle xo
