New Workshop! - Using Imagery Effectively in CBT

image

Good morning, ,

Have you found some clients just staying 'stuck' in the same old thinking patterns and subsequent behavioural consequences? Even when they basically know their beliefs are not really based in fact or even helpful, yet just can't shake free? One way of helping clients break through here is by supporting them to focus on images and structured visualisation.

There is a lot of new thinking about the role of imagery in CBT and psychotherapy generally and this new webinar will bring together all the latest ideas in one place including experiential practical techniques you can use with your clients immediately. We will look at evidence-based approaches to help clients for example reimagine possible outcomes or jump ahead to a safer future time, or explore image rescripting for autobiographical memories.

We will also look at how imagery techniques can be used by ourselves as therapists for self-care and professional development.

And after the workshop there will be the usual extensive range of resources, links, case study material, reading and anonymous collation of participants thoughts, ideas and comments emailed to you to support your use of imagery techniques with your clients.

Using Imagery Effectively in CBT is an interactive overview on the use of experiential imagery techniques in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma and suicide management.
