ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is becoming increasingly popular. Reseach evidence indicates that it is an effective treatment for anxiety and depression. The core idea is that we can note, recognise and ... accept random, ruminative thoughts in our consciousness -- and move on. We will show you the benefits of ACT and some of the common mistakes therapists make. We also consider the idea of applying ACT to ourselves as therapists as part of our self care.
Join us on Sunday 23 June 2024 to help you become effective in ACT. Get a new string on your bow.
