Once again thank you, , for registering an interest to be one of the first through the virtual doors of Practical CBT Academy! Only 13 days and counting until we open the portal...
Today we are looking at our Quiz feature and our Launch Event.
First off, let's be clear. There is no quiz within our courses that affects whether you get your certificate or not. These are NOT examinations. These are just short multiple choice quizzes to help you check your understanding of key terms, techniques and ideas. These are similar to the multiple choice questions that everyone enjoys via Mentimeter at one of our online live webinars.
But they go beyond that. For each choice you make you will get simple feedback on why that choice is the best answer - or not. As an additional really helpful feature, if you get a question incorrect, you will be guided back to the part of the course which covers the topic you might have not quite nailed down.
Our Quizzes are designed to be:
- Fun!
- Structured and linked directly to key points in the course
- Linked to specific Lessons so that you can see what you might want to double check before trying the quiz again
- Help you see how much you are learning from the course as you progress Section by Section and Lesson by Lesson.
The Launch Event
To help celebrate the launch of the Academy and give everyone a chance to see how simple it all is to use, we will be hosting a special event on Sunday 3 July. We will be giving away some discount vouchers you can use against courses and answering questions from everyone. This will be a free fun event but restricted to Practical CBT newsletter subscribers. Look out for the booking link in our next bulletin.
Remember - with Practical CBT Academy you can access courses on-demand online via desktop, tablet or smartphone. The courses range from on-demand versions of our live webinars to extended programmes with up to 10 Hours CPD. All courses are certificated.
In our next bulletin we'll be talking about videos and how they are a key part of our courses. We will also be giving you a chance to take part in our Academy Survey where you could win £50 in Amazon vouchers.
Stay tuned.
