In author news front, I've hired Happily Booked PR to help create reels for Instagram once a week so I can have some more time to focus on writing and less time on maintaining social awareness. They create 5 reels and 5 images for me every month to help give more time towards writing more books, and less time towards social content (which my brain can spiral and literally circle around the same idea multiple times before being able to move on) I overthink and too much time is lost on refocusing from task to task.

And as an indie author there are a lot of hats to refocus and transition through.

This is the place in my newsletter where you can check up on my wordcount/progress on any given project. So, if you're excited about something and where I'm at with it, or what's next on the writing agenda, this is the place to check. I don't post this anywhere else but on my newsletter. Not even my website has a progress update zone.

Sky, why are there so many books in your author updates? Because my brain doesn't follow a straight path towards the end of any given story. I bounce from book to book until one finally reaches the finish line. This is like playing a game of roulette with my brainium on which book it will actually focus on. Funny enough, I read the same way with multiple books if I don't finish a book in one sitting, it can usually take me longer to complete reading it because I end up hopping to another book and then coming back to it. Sometimes, I get a surge of hyper fixation and a story is all I can think about... to the point where I forget to eat, or really have much of an attention span for other things. I get the same way with cleaning sometimes. The place will be a mess, and then all of a sudden, cleaning is all I can focus on. Anyways, you get the point. I'm a mess.

Dragon's Oath: is the next freebie I'm working on to give to everyone on the newsletter! It's a darker alien dragon romance, but with plenty of humorous banter to help take the dark edge off and of course, lovely spice with plot as usual. This will be a series; I have 3 covers picked up to explore this idea with!

Goblin's Treasure: is a darker fae romantasy about being abducted into the Goblin Kingdom with Labyrinth feels but older and spicier. Her Alien Starbreaker My goal is to have this completed before end of September 2024 for an anthology. Best of all, the personal cover for the book is commissioned by Deborah Garcia! So, this is the first cover I have made from commissioned artwork instead of cover designers! (Note: I make sure all my covers are done by designers that do NOT support A.I., No A.I. is used for my covers, nor my writing. I R hooman.)
