What’s Happening In Narelle’s World?
Dear Friends,
Welcome to November! We're in the countdown to Christmas and it's only 6 weeks away. Where has 2024 gone? Summer is approaching and I'm loving the in-season fresh fruit that's available in our Aussie stores. Mangoes, cherries, and strawberries are my go-to snack food at this time of year. My love for mangoes started when I was very young. My grandparents had a mango tree in the backyard of their apartment complex in Sydney. I loved picking mangoes off the tree with them and I had a lot of fun eating them. They're messy to eat but so good.
We’re close to the end of the of the year and I'm on the home stretch with my Read the Bible in a Year Challenge. My goal is to listen to the daily readings in The One Year Chronological Bible and the encouraging Daily Bible Podcast - Audio Bible Reading Plan episodes with Tricia Goyer and her friend Michelle. In recent days I've been reading inspiring and encouraging passages from Acts and Galatians.

My contemporary Christian romance selection is Fiancé Finale by Angela Ruth Strong. The highly anticipated third book is now my favorite in Angela's Love Off Script series. Charlie is an adorable hero who is clueless at times. His literal interpretation of everything creates funny, sweet, and poignant moments. Nicole is Charlie’s jilted bride who's gobsmacked when she discovers that Charlie thinks God wants them to marry. I recommend Fiancé Finale to readers who like second chances romcoms with depth that explore faith issues in the story. Final Thoughts
Thank you for journeying with me on my often crazy and challenging book publishing journey. If you’re a praying person, I’d love continued prayers for the time to open up to implement my writing schedule with a weekday time spent writing goal. I'm thankful I'm finally catching up on doing important admin things, including tax preparation and dealing with my late mum's estate. Spring cleaning (aka. clearing out junk) is also on my to-do list. I have appreciated all your email replies, prayers, good thoughts, and support.
