What’s Happening In Narelle’s World?
Dear Friends,
Welcome to September! Spring is here and the cherry blossom trees are blooming. The weather is a little warmer, and some spring rain would be welcome after a dry and windy end to our Canberra winter. My sister has moved back to Queensland and she'll be moving into her new home next week.
Our cat, Miss Daisy, is a big sook who misses my sister. Miss Daisy is spending a lot of time sulking in the now empty bedroom. Sometimes I wonder if she thinks she's a person rather than a cat. She likes sitting on the sofa with us and watching tv. Apparently her sitting position in the photo below is comfortable, lol.
I'm doing something a little different with my newsletter this month. Instead of holding a paperback giveaway where you reply to this email to enter, I'm relocating the giveaway to my blog at - narelleatkins.com - with a bigger pool of prizes. Keep reading to learn more about how to enter my September Sweet Treats Giveaway.
We’re in the last third of the year and I'm hanging in there with my Read the Bible in a Year Challenge. My goal is to listen to the daily readings in The One Year Chronological Bible and the encouraging Daily Bible Podcast - Audio Bible Reading Plan episodes with Tricia Goyer and her friend Michelle. In recent days I've been reading inspiring and encouraging passages from Chronicles and a few of the Old Testament prophets.

Final Thoughts
Thank you for journeying with me on my often crazy and challenging book publishing journey. If you’re a praying person, I’d love continued prayers for my sister, especially as she settles in her new home in Queensland in the next few weeks. I'd also love prayers for clarity in how to create a writing schedule that's going to help me reach a weekly word count target and have flexibility to fit around my other commitments. My Chapel Cove book is brewing and it's my next story to write, followed by my second Trinity Lakes Romance book. I have appreciated all your email replies, prayers, good thoughts, and support.
Blessings and love to you,
Narelle xo
